\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Peacock is tripling down on the creative team behind its hit limited series All Her Fault<\/a>. In a highly competitive situation, Carnival Films<\/a>, part of Universal International Studios, has won the rights to develop All Her Fault author Andrea Mara<\/a>\u2018s latest bestselling novel, Such a Nice Girl<\/a>. The project has landed at Peacock with All Her Fault creator Megan Gallagher<\/a> writing and executive producing.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2021 All Her Fault became the first book by Irish crime novelist Mara to get a screen adaptation when Peacock made it into a limited series with Gallagher, Carnival Films and UIS, a division of Universal Studio Group. <\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing All Her Fault\u2019s breakout success, Peacock re-teamed with Gallagher and Carnival Films for The Break-In<\/a>, an adaption of the novel by Katherine Faulkner, with Gallagher again writing and executive producing. The limited series was just greenlighted by the NBCU streamer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat is now being followed in the development pipeline by Such a Nice Girl, based on Mara\u2019s novel which became an instant bestseller upon its April 28 publication by Bantam Press.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Such A Nice Girl, the morning after a glamorous luxury wedding, best friends Siobhan and Grace go to wake their 24-year-old daughters. Opening the door to their shared room, they find a smashed lamp, an abandoned phone and blood on the carpet. Over the next few days, the truth unravels and tests Siobhan and Grace\u2019s friendship to its limits. As secrets and lies begin to come to light, they realize the girls were not best friends. In fact, they weren\u2019t really friends at all. And now, it looks like one of them is dead and one is a killer. But whose daughter is guilty of murder?<\/p>\n

\n\tCarnival Films\u2019 Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant will serve as executive producers alongside Gallagher and Mara. UIS is the studio. <\/p>\n

\n\tReleased in November,\u00a0All Her Fault, starring Sarah Snook, became Peacock\u2019s biggest original launch to date, amassing 45 million hours viewed in its first four weeks.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Oslo-based, American-born Gallagher created, wrote, and executive produced the Critics Choice and Golden Globe-nominated All Her Fault, which also stands as Sky\u2019s highest-performing drama of 2025. Gallagher was writer and executive producer on BBC\u2019s psychological crime thriller Wolf. Her upcoming projects include The Blame, an ITV drama starring Michelle Keegan and Douglas Booth, on which she serves as lead writer and executive producer.<\/p>\n
