While the Seraphites were largely on the periphery of TLOU Season 2, they’re a major part of The Last Of Us Part II<\/a> game. And in The Last Of Us Season 3, Peter Sarsgard will be playing one of their leaders, Amon, an all-new character crafted specifically for Mazin’s show. Details of his introduction are being kept under wraps, but the promise of an increased Seraphite presence in the season ahead only makes it all the more likely that the show’s third (and possibly final) outing will focus on Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby and her journey of love, loss, and vengeance \u2014 a journey that intersects with the Seraphite cult in ways we shan’t spoil here.<\/p>\n

As Deadline confirm, filming on The Last Of Us Season 3 \u2014 the show’s first outing without game creator Neil Druckmann, who made a shock exit from HBO’s adaptation last summer<\/a> \u2014 is slated to continue in a month’s time and last through the end of the year ahead of a planned premiere in 2027.
