\u00a9 Yuki Tabata\/Shueisha, TV Tokyo, Black Clover Project<\/p>\n

TV Tokyo<\/a> announced on Monday that the\u00a0second<\/a> anime season based on Y\u016bki Tabata<\/a>‘s Black Clover<\/a> manga will premiere on TV Tokyo in October. TV Tokyo also announced that Ayataka Tanemura<\/a>, the director of episodes 153-170 of the first Black Clover anime and the film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King<\/a>, will direct the second season. Tanemura will also attend Anime Expo<\/a> for a July 4 panel for the anime alongside voice actor<\/a> Gakuto Kajiwara<\/a>, the voice of protagonist Asta.<\/p>\n

Anime Expo 2026 will take place from July 2-5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.<\/p>\n

Studio Pierrot<\/a> will return to animate the new season. Crunchyroll<\/a> will stream the anime.<\/p>\n

The Black Clover anime last aired<\/a> in March 2021 with its 170th episode.<\/p>\n

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2017. The show was originally listed<\/a> with 51 episodes, but it continued<\/a> into a new season with episode 52 in October 2018, and continued on again into a new season in October 2019. Crunchyroll streamed<\/a> the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and Funimation<\/a> streamed<\/a> the show’s English dub<\/a>. The anime debuted<\/a> on Adult Swim<\/a>‘s Toonami<\/a> programming block in December 2017.<\/p>\n

The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King (Black Clover: Mah\u043e\u0304tei no Ken) anime film<\/a> opened in Japan and debuted on Netflix<\/a> worldwide in June 2023.<\/p>\n

Tabata launched<\/a> Black Clover in Weekly Shonen Jump<\/a> in February 2015. The manga moved<\/a> to the quarterly Jump Giga<\/a> magazine in 2023. Viz Media<\/a> is publishing the manga digitally and in print, and Shueisha<\/a>‘s MANGA Plus<\/a> service is also publishing the manga digitally.<\/p>\n
