\n\tMusicians are celebrating the New York Knicks\u2019 first NBA championship in 53 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday (June 13), the Knicks secured the title with a 94-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the historic win, music stars including Cardi B<\/a>, Fat Joe<\/a>, Alicia Keys<\/a> and Jennifer Lopez<\/a> took to social media to celebrate the franchise\u2019s first championship since 1973.<\/p>\n

\n\tCardi B documented her over-the-top reaction in an Instagram Live video<\/a>, leaping out of bed and running excitedly through her house while screaming, \u201cOh my God!\u201d and \u201cWe won!\u201d She later explained that she needed to get ready to go out because \u201cthe streets are calling me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFat Joe, a longtime Knicks supporter who has regularly cheered on the team from courtside seats, also marked the occasion on social media.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNever give up,\u201d Joe captioned an Instagram photo<\/a> of himself posing alongside the Larry O\u2019Brien Championship Trophy.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe rapper also shared several celebratory posts, including a courtside video himself<\/a> alongside actor Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and actress Teyana Taylor.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlicia Keys joined the festivities by posting a video<\/a> of a massive crowd flooding the streets of New York City after the win. In the clip, fans could be heard singing \u201cEmpire State of Mind,\u201d her 2009 hit collaboration with Jay-Z.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEmpire State of Mind!!!!!!\u201d she captioned the Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\n\tJennifer Lopez delivered one of the night\u2019s most memorable reactions, sharing a video of herself<\/a> on Instagram watching the game\u2019s final moments from home. As the game ended, the Bronx native jumped up in celebration before collapsing onto her couch while shouting, \u201cYes!\u201d and \u201cOh, my God!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLopez accompanied the clip with a heartfelt message reflecting on her lifelong connection to the team.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCongratulations to the New York Knickerbockers, NBA Champions!!!!!\u201d Lopez began. \u201cI remember the last time the Knicks were making a run for the championship and rushing home every game day from the set to watch Ewing, Starks and Oakley make a hell of a run.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cWe have all been waiting patiently for this day for years. Thank you for uniting our city again\u2026for uniting the world.
