Episodes of the animated show only run 24 minutes, however, whereas episodes of the live action show have clocked in anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour, meaning there could still be little difference in total time dedicated to telling Book Two in live action.<\/p>\n Despite this, fans have been understandably concerned about the prospect of crucial plotlines not making the leap to live action, ever since it was revealed that season 2 would be just seven episodes long. The thing is there\u2019s never enough time to do everything one-to-one, but we try and draw as much inspiration as possible from every aspect of Avatar: The Last Airbender, be it the comics, novels or the show, and we hope that this live-action version can drum up excitement for these other aspects of ATLA and newcomers to the series will go off and explore them.\u201d<\/p>\n One fan-favorite character we know is making the leap to live action intact is Earthbender Toph, who features prominently in the Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 trailer<\/a>.
