Katy Perry<\/a> is giving herself permission to be angry.<\/p>\n The 41-year-old Teenage Dream pop superstar previewed an upcoming song \u201cWatch It Burn\u201d in an interview with Justin Tranter for Unfamous The Podcast, out on Wednesday (June 17).<\/p>\n \u201cIn \u2018Watch It Burn\u2019 I am wrestling with my darkness but last year was pretty tough,\u201d she explained in the preview.<\/p>\n \u201cI have not given myself permission to be angry my whole life over things where I should be f\u2013king angry about. What I\u2019ve done is I pushed it down, but I should be f\u2013king angry. I\u2019m allowed to be angry for a f\u2013king moment,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cSo instead of falling into\u2019 \u2018Woe is me,\u2019 I just was like, \u2018Okay, let\u2019s just feel this f\u2013king pain,\u2019 let\u2019s feel this pain, let\u2019s feel this anger and let\u2019s move on, let\u2019s learn from it also,\u201d Katy explained.<\/p>\n You can also hear a preview of the song throughout the clip.
