The news outlet said in a report that it was \u201ca remarkable and highly unusual development between close allies on an issue of such critical national security importance\u201d.<\/p>\n However, a U.S. official said the report was \u201cnot accurate\u201d adding that \u201cthe United States has remained in close coordination with our regional partners, including Israel, throughout the negotiations.\u201d <\/p>\n The Independent has reached out to Netanyahu\u2019s office and the White House for comment.<\/p>\n Vice President JD Vance, who was part of the negotiations with Iran, has said that Washington has not released the text because officials needed to \u201csequence this in the right way\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are sensitivities that exist in the Arab and Muslim world that we\u2019re trying to be responsive to.\u201d<\/p>\n The signing ceremony of the MoU is expected Friday in Switzerland to formalise the deal between the U.S. and Iran, leading the two countries to a second phase of direct talks on details of the deal, including the future of Iran’s nuclear program and uranium enrichment.<\/p>\n Under the deal, the U.S. will end its blockage of the Iranian ports while Tehran will restore the passage of oil tankers and other maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, the key waterway that was effectively blocked since the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on February 18. <\/p>\n The rift between Netanyahu and Trump has been becoming more evident in recent days, with the Israeli President acknowledging that him and Trump \u201cdo not always see eye to eye<\/a>\u201d during a news conference Monday after the announcement of the deal.<\/p>\n He also said, \u201cWe still do not know what the agreement will be\u201d.<\/p>\n Trump has expressed his frustrations over Israel’s refusal to constrain its pursuit of Hezbollah in Lebanon<\/a>, where a cessation of \u2060hostilities is a key Iranian demand.
