Priscilla Presley\u2019s scandalous memoir reveals her true feelings about late daughter Lisa Marie \u2014 suggesting her birth destroyed the beauty\u2019s marriage to Elvis Presley and charging the songbird\u2019s two-year union with Michael Jackson in the 1990s was a PR stunt concocted by the King of Pop.<\/p>\n

Those are just some of the startling bombshells dropped in 80-year-old Priscilla\u2019s tell-all Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis<\/a> \u2014 which has Elvis fans fuming over her seemingly mean-spirited takedown of the dead music legend\u2019s only child, who passed away at age 54 in January 2023.<\/p>\n

In the 336-page tome, the onetime first lady of Graceland \u2014 who divorced the \u201cSuspicious Minds\u201d singer in 1973 \u2014 throws doubt on Lisa Marie\u2019s child molestation charges against Priscilla\u2019s actor ex-boyfriend Michael Edwards, who has vehemently denied the claims.<\/p>\n

The Naked Gun actress also rehashes the 2020 gunshot suicide of Lisa Marie\u2019s son, 27-year-old Benjamin Keough, and points out that her grief-stricken daughter lived with his dry-iced corpse for more than two months.<\/p>\n

\u201cPriscilla was always jealous of Lisa because Elvis gave all his attention to his daughter,\u201d a furious insider tells the National Enquirer. \u201cPriscilla is essentially spitting on her daughter\u2019s grave.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the source, Daisy Jones & the Six star Riley Keough \u2014 Lisa Marie\u2019s 36-year-old daughter \u2014 is \u201cupset\u201d about the memoir but \u201cshe\u2019s holding her tongue.\u201d<\/p>\n

The book reveals Priscilla was appalled by Lisa Marie\u2019s 1994 marriage to \u201cBillie Jean\u201d singer Jackson because she \u201cdidn\u2019t believe he loved her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Priscilla writes, \u201cI asked her if they had a physical relationship. Like so many people, I wasn\u2019t sure. She said, \u2018Yeah\u2019 \u2026 I knew in my bones that Michael wasn\u2019t marrying Lisa Marie; he was marrying the Presley dynasty.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider says the mother and daughter had a fraught relationship \u2014 and that angry Lisa Marie got hitched to the hitmaker because \u201cshe knew it would bother her mother.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur wedding had meant I could finally come out in the open,\u201d she writes. \u201cI was so excited. But when I got pregnant on my wedding night, those dreams fell apart.\u201d<\/p>\n

She further laments, \u201cMaking everything worse was the fact that Elvis lost interest in me sexually once Lisa was born. He had never been able to make love to a woman who\u2019d had a child.\u201d<\/p>\n
