Even toys aren’t exempt from being replaced by technology.

Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” opening in theaters June 19, is the latest instalment in the beloved animated franchise that follows a group of toys, led by cowboy Woody (Tom Hanks) and space ranger Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen).

Following 2019’s “Toy Story 4,” the new film sees the gang face off against a huge challenge: technology. The newly introduced character of Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet, throws playtime for a loop when the toys’ owner, Bonnie, begins to favor the screen over her boring toys.
