Both firms scored a significant market share with positive growth in shipments. While the former captured the first spot, the latter regained strong momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Counterpoint has released its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/apple-huawei-hisilicon-q1-2026-global-chip-sales\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Q1 2026<\/a> global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huaweicentral.com\/huawei-scored-highest-in-chinese-smartwatch-sales-for-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">smartwatch sales<\/a> report for the top five brands, in which Apple and Huawei hold the top two spots with high scores.<\/p>\n<p>Watch Ultra maker achieved the No. 1 position with 23% market share and a 21% increase in wearable sales. Apple\u2019s newest portfolio and growing demand for premium smartwatches helped it attain the top place in the latest ranking.<\/p>\n<p>The company accounted for the highest sales in North America, China, and Europe. It even ranked as the fastest-growing brand in Europe and the Chinese smartwatch sales market for the first quarter of this year.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei appeared in second position with 17% market share and a 12% sharp jump in sales growth. The report <a href=\"https:\/\/counterpointresearch.com\/en\/insights\/global-smartwatch-market-q1-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reveals<\/a> that the company drove China\u2019s wearable shipments, which grew 15% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In China, Huawei owns 40% of the smartwatch sales share \u2013 all thanks to its recent creations that bring advanced health and sports features.<\/p>\n<p>Counterpoint says:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuawei\u2019s increased focus on health features such as sleep tracking, emotional wellbeing monitoring, and arrhythmia analysis, expansion across price tiers, and seamless ecosystem integration supported its growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi ranked third in the Q1 2026 global smartwatch sales race. It has obtained 10% market share and 9% YoY progress. Imoo is in the fourth spot with a market share of 7% and 2% growth. The only brand seeing negative growth is Samsung.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean tech giant has slipped to 5% market share and 28% in the overall shipments compared to the same period last year.
