\u2018spineless\u2019 and \u2018pathetic’<\/a> for inviting the Irish UFC fighter for an interview last night.<\/p>\nFallon has hosted The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since 2014.<\/p>\n
This is due to McGregor having previously been found liable in a civil case\u00a0for\u00a0the rape of a Nikita Hand in 2018. <\/p>\n
She was awarded \u20ac248,603 in damages\u00a0following the jury\u2019s ruling which saw McGregor liable for rape and assault, with paramedics stating that they had not seen \u2018someone so bruised\u2019 in a long time.<\/p>\n
X (previously Twitter) users, commented on Fallon’s decision to host McGregor on the show, and questioned the fact that he did not mention aspect of the case.<\/p>\n
“This is disgusting. Shame on @jimmyfallon,” one account stated.<\/p>\n
“Jimmy Fallon, you and your team are an utter disgrace. There is absolutely no way you don\u2019t know what Conor was found liable for in civil court,” another added.<\/p>\n
“Jimmy, Conor was found civilly liable for rape; he appealed and lost.\u00a0That\u2019s enough to make him persona ingrata. Jimmy, you are now abating and abetting after the fact. Same for the network,” said another user on X.<\/p>\n
“You\u2019re a disgrace @jimmyfallon have this disgusting man on your show. You have daughters. Shame on you,” another chimed in.<\/p>\n
Fallon shares both an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old with his wife, Nancy Juvonen.<\/p>\n
McGregor’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon comes after an announcement that he will be returning for his first fight since 2021.<\/p>\n
