NRLW star Jessica Sergis has revealed she suffered a wardrobe malfunction just minutes before walking the red carpet at the 2025 Dally M Awards on Wednesday.

The Sydney Roosters player had her figure on show in a very racy sheer gown as she arrived at the Sydney awards night with her NRL star boyfriend Tommy Talau.

Her revealing dress included an ‘underwear illusion’ element that flowed into the skirting while also baring her belly.

The incredibly low-cut nature of the velvet details left little space for underwear, making for a very daring display.

While walking the red carpet, Jessica revealed she ‘suffered a wardrobe malfunction just 20 minutes earlier’ and had a clip holding the dress in place at the back.

‘Beauty is pain… there is a clip on the back that is holding it all together, that fixed it,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘Should’ve just wore a bikini at that point,’ one person commented.

‘Who tells these girls how to dress? Seriously what happened to style and elegance. Might as well just put on a pair of undies and turn up,’ a second wrote.

‘No class with that dress,’ a third said while another added: ‘The AFL girls dress so much better than NRL girls. What’s with the dress? It’s horrible.’

‘He’s all class and then there’s that dress. Way better choices out there,’ one person wrote.

Despite the backlash from some viewers, others defended Jessica’s very sheer look and insisted she ‘looks amazing’.

‘Hatersssss!!!! She looks amazing y’all mad you can’t rock it,’ one person wrote.
