The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has frozen membership fees for the upcoming year, aiming to ease financial pressures on businesses while boosting investment in the UK independent aftermarket. The decision comes as the sector faces escalating operational costs. Over the past year, the IAAF has ramped up its advocacy work, focusing heavily on its Right to Repair campaign to secure independent operators\u2019 access to vehicle data, repair information, and parts as vehicle connectivity advances.<\/p>\n
Alongside lobbying, the federation is investing in a new website, enhanced digital resources, and expanded member networking events to boost engagement, which is currently at an all-time high.<\/p>\n
Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: \u201cWe have a duty to support members while continuing to invest in activities that deliver tangible benefits to businesses and individuals working throughout the supply chain.<\/p>\n
\u201cMembership engagement is the highest it\u2019s ever been and more businesses are looking to join the federation. This, coupled with our growing garage membership, underlines our commitment to being the voice of the entire independent automotive aftermarket.<\/p>\n
