The ACT Brumbies can confirm\u00a0Hudson Creighton, Austin Anderson and Judah Saumaisue\u00a0will\u00a0depart\u00a0the club at the conclusion of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The trio have each made valued contributions during their time in Canberra, on and off field.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Creighton\u00a0departs\u00a0after five seasons and 32 caps in Brumbies colours, while Anderson and\u00a0Saumaisue\u00a0have provided important depth to the club’s squad over the past two campaigns.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After making his Super Rugby debut for the Queensland Reds, Creighton joined the Brumbies ahead of the 2022 season and made his club debut against the Western Force.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
He went on to make 32 appearances and score seven tries in Brumbies colours,\u00a0establishing\u00a0himself as one of the club’s most versatile backs. Equally comfortable at centre or on the wing, the 26-year-old combined direct running, sure\u00a0hands,\u00a0and\u00a0stout\u00a0defence to become a\u00a0resolute and reliable\u00a0member of the Brumbies backline.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His form was recognised with\u00a0selection\u00a0for Australia A in 2022\u00a0and in\u00a02025 he featured against the touring British & Irish Lions, crossing for a memorable try in\u00a0front of a packed GIO stadium.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’m incredibly grateful to the Brumbies for everything they’ve done for me over the past five seasons,\u201d Creighton said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’ve been lucky enough to play alongside some great people and make memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my career. I’m excited for the next chapter and the opportunity to challenge myself in a new environment.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Anderson joined the Brumbies ahead of the 2024 season and\u00a0has\u00a0cemented himself as a\u00a0popular\u00a0member of the squad.\u00a0Able to\u00a0slot in at\u00a0centre,\u00a0fullback,\u00a0or fly-half, the 22-year-old’s rugby\u00a0IQ, skillset and versatility provided important cover across the Brumbies backline.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He made his Super Rugby debut in Round 1 against the Fijian Drua in Fiji and went on to earn four Brumbies caps, embracing every opportunity that came his way.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’d like to thank everyone at the Brumbies for giving me the opportunity to represent the club and develop as both a player and a person,\u201d Anderson said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’ve learned so much during my time in Canberra and I’m grateful to everyone who invested in me. While it’s tough to leave, I’m excited for what’s ahead and to take the next step in my rugby journey.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Saumaisue\u00a0joined the Brumbies ahead of the 2025\u00a0season after impressing for\u00a0the\u00a0Fiji Under 20s\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0powerful ball carrier and uncompromising defender.\u00a0The 22-year-old backrower\u00a0earned\u00a0his Brumbies debut in Round 1\u00a0of the 2025 season\u00a0against the Fijian Drua,\u00a0before featuring in the opening three matches of the campaign, finishing his time in Canberra with three Super Rugby caps.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’m really thankful to the Brumbies for believing in me and giving me the chance to play Super Rugby, \u201c\u00a0Saumaisue\u00a0said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I’ve learned so much from my coaches and teammates over the past two seasons, and those experiences will stay with me wherever I go. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my rugby career and embracing the opportunities that come with it.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
ACT Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham\u00a0thanked all three players for their contribution to the club.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Hudson, Austin and Judah have all\u00a0left their mark\u00a0on our program\u00a0during their time here,” Larkham said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Hudson has been an incredibly reliable member of our backline for a number of seasons, while Austin and Judah have embraced every opportunity and made valuable contributions to our squad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The departures of Creighton, Anderson and\u00a0Saumaisue\u00a0follow the previously announced exits of Luke Reimer, Cadeyrn Neville and\u00a0Tuaina\u00a0Tualima, with the Brumbies continuing to shape their squad ahead of the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
