SpaceX has secured another cloud computing contract for its Colossus data center infrastructure.<\/p>\n
The latest agreement has been signed with Reflection AI, an open-source AI startup.<\/p>\n
CNBC<\/a> reports that Reflection will be leasing access to Nvidia GB300s, and has agreed to pay $150 million per month from July 2026 through 2029, for a total of $6.3bn should the contract run to its full term.<\/p>\n The capacity will be from the Colossus 2 data center near Memphis, Tennessee.<\/p>\n The company purchased the site for Colossus 2 last March<\/a>, and the data center came online in January. Despite Musk claiming it offered 1GW of capacity at launch, satellite imagery taken in January reportedly<\/a> showed it had cooling equipment installed capable of managing 350MW. In May 2026<\/a>, the company was reportedly deploying 19 natural gas turbines at the site.<\/p>\n Both companies have the option to terminate the contract with 90 days’ notice after the first three months.<\/p>\n This deal is the latest cloud-style computing agreement SpaceX has signed, following those with Anthropic<\/a>, Google<\/a>, and Cursor – an AI coding platform. SpaceX is now set to acquire Cursor.<\/p>\n Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched its IPO on June 12<\/a>, and within days had become the world’s fourth-largest<\/a> publicly traded company. The company has, however, since seen its share price significantly drop following a $20 billion bond offering launched yesterday.
