MISSOULA, Mont. \u2014 A common blood pressure medication is being recalled nationwide this morning.<\/p>\n
Inventia Healthcare is recalling more than 11,000 bottles of chlorthalidone 25-milligram tablets.<\/p>\n
The company says certain lots failed dissolution testing, meaning the tablets may not break down properly in the body and could be less effective than intended.<\/p>\n
The recall affects 100-count and 1,000-count bottles with expiration dates in April 2027.<\/p>\n
If you take chlorthalidone, check the lot number on your bottle and contact your pharmacist or health care provider with questions.<\/p>\n
Also this morning, a nasal spray sold through Amazon is being recalled nationwide over possible microbial contamination.<\/p>\n
Beekeeper’s Naturals is recalling one lot of its saline nasal spray after testing found elevated levels of yeast and other possible contaminants.<\/p>\n
The company says people with weakened immune systems or lung conditions could face a risk of serious infections if they use the product.<\/p>\n
