Coronation Street’s Will Driscoll has made a huge decision ahead of Megan Walsh’s trial. The character has been dealing with the fallout after his confession regarding Megan’s manipulation of him, which led to her arrest and grooming charge.<\/a> <\/p>\n

However, it wasn’t long until Megan was back on the cobbles<\/a> and in Will’s life in an attempt to avoid justice. With her trial date pending, tension has been rife on the Street, with Ben expressing concern that Sam won’t be in a fit state to deliver his testimony following his diagnosis. <\/a><\/p>\n

To top it all off, Megan’s mum Janine has arrived, though there seems to be a sinister reason for her arrival.<\/a> Amidst all this, Will has been communicating with a gamer under the username of “Minimog16”.<\/p>\n

In tonight’s episode, while mucking around with Will’s gaming console, Susie selected the user and was surprised to hear Megan’s voice.<\/a> The player quickly disconnected when Susie identified herself. <\/p>\n

After telling Ollie what she heard, he then told Maggie and the two burst into the room while Will was online. Maggie ripped off his headset, and when she put it on to speak to “Miss Walsh”, Will said it was actually Hope on the other end, with the two having recently become closer. <\/a><\/p>\n

“Are you ever going to let me forget?” Will exclaimed, before Maggie handed the handset back to him, telling them to continue “as you were”. <\/p>\n

However, later on, Will spoke with Megan via his headset and relayed to her what had happened. When Megan asked why he was talking to Hope, he said that it was just a “cover” for their own conversations.

When Will said he cannot keep this up any longer, Megan suggested they meet up “one last time” at a car park so he could “see for [him]self how desperate [she] is”.<\/p>\n

The two eventually met, where Megan attempted to persuade Will to not testify at the trial. “I loved you,” she said. “And I now know that that was wrong, but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t the truth […] Please don’t let this be how it ends. Don’t let me go to prison.”<\/p>\n

However, Will wasn’t convinced, accusing her of lying before pointing out Megan’s intention to leave the country without him.<\/p>\n

Back home, Will told Ollie that he plans to sell his console, to which his brother gave a smile of approval. <\/p>\n

As Megan’s trial looms, it appears as though Will does speak out in court<\/a>. But with Megan and his family there, will he crumble?<\/p>\n
