Tom Hardy<\/a> \u2014 yes, that Tom Hardy \u2014 once rapped under the moniker Tommy No 1<\/a> before making it big in Hollywood. In recent years, he quietly teamed up with the underground supergroup CZARFACE<\/a> as Frankie Pulitzer\/FacePuller for a handful of songs, and now they\u2019re doing a full project together.<\/p>\n

Titled\u00a0Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer<\/a>, the collaborative album will drop on August 28th via Silver Age. Besides Hardy and the trio of Wu-Tang Clan\u2019s Inspectah Deck with Boston stalwarts 7L & Esoteric, the project features guest appearances from hip-hop royalty such as Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and El-P.<\/p>\n

On the lead single, \u201cBrothers Grimm,\u201d Hardy has the unenviable task of following in the footsteps of a lead-off verse from all-time great Inspectah Deck and Esoteric dropping effortless sports references.<\/p>\n

However, the Bane and Venom actor acquits himself admirably, showing backpack bona fides with bars like, \u201cKarambit to jugular femoral to the gambit\/ Arterial spray from the carotid to the ceiling.\u201d While Hardy doesn\u2019t show off\u00a0the smoothest delivery, he at least doesn\u2019t seem completely out of place.<\/p>\n
