June 29, 2026 \u2013 Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child on Monday, after storming the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood of Al-Bireh, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of 15-year-old Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber<\/a>, after occupation forces shot him in the head and chest with live rounds in the city of Al-Bireh.<\/p>\n Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Bireh, and opened fire towards the child, shooting and critically wounding him.<\/p>\n For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews performed cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to a critically injured child who sustained a live gunshot injury to the head.<\/p>\n PRCS ambulance crews transported the seriously injured child to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his wounds.<\/p>\n \nSince the beginning of the year, Israeli soldiers and illegal colonizers have killed 73 Palestinians, including 19 children and 5 women in the occupied West Bank, while the Israeli occupation continues to withhold the bodies of at least 22 of those killed.<\/p>\n Among those, 19 were killed in Hebron, 16 in Ramallah & Al-Bireh, 12 in Nablus, 7 in Jerusalem, 5 in Tubas, 5 in Jenin, 3 in Bethlehem, 2 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, 2 in Qalqilia, and 1 in Salfit, and 1 in Tulkarem<\/a>, according to the Shireen Observatory.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
