Samsung Electronics Co. was hit with patent infringement allegations by Touchstream Technologies Inc. over streaming technology utilized by the electronics giant\u2019s SmartThings and TV plus applications.<\/p>\n
Samsung\u2019s applications use similar methods as US Patent Nos. 8,356,251<\/a>, 11,048,751<\/a>, 8,904,289<\/a> and 11,475,062<\/a>, Touchstream said in a June 26 complaint<\/a> filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
