AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Kestra Investment Management<\/a> (KIM), the asset management arm of industry-leading wealth management platform Kestra Holdings<\/a>, today announced it has reached $5 billion in assets under management (AUM), surpassing its internal goal one year ahead of schedule and 7 months after crossing the $4 billion AUM mark. The announcement coincides with the recognition of KIM President and Chief Investment Officer, Kara Murphy, as a finalist<\/a> in the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards (Wealthies) in the Asset Managers \u2013 Thought Leader of the Year category.<\/p>\n

\nThis milestone reflects the growing adoption of KIM\u2019s model portfolio platform among Kestra-affiliated independent financial advisors, with more than 350 advisors now running at least one KIM portfolio and 17,000 accounts across 55 model portfolios spanning seven risk profiles. KIM\u2019s longest-running models have outperformed nearly three-quarters of their peers, and single-stock portfolios have outperformed more than three-quarters of their peers since inception.<\/p>\n
