\n\tJaden Smith<\/a> previewed a never-before-seen Christian Louboutin<\/a> shoe 3D-printed with Zellerfeld<\/a> on social media late last week.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a short video clip, Smith is seen wearing the all-black derby style dress shoe with the unmistakable red sole. The men\u2019s creative director<\/a> for Louboutin then takes the shoe off his foot and shows the camera how flexible the printed silhouette can be, folding it over onto itself.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe German footwear company later reposted Smith\u2019s story on Instagram, subtly confirming the news.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement sent to FN, Zellerfeld<\/a> said the shoe \u201cmarks a major step for what a luxury dress shoe can become, not cut, stitched and assembled in the traditional sense, but shaped through next-gen manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cZellerfeld\u2019s momentum is becoming hard to overstate,\u201d Zellerfeld stated. \u201cWhat began as a radical new way to make shoes is now moving through sport, streetwear and luxury, reaching the brands, designers and cultural figures that define where footwear goes next.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe moment follows Smith\u2019s latest Paris presentation for Christian Louboutin<\/a> men\u2019s line in Paris last week.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor his second season<\/a> at the French luxury footwear and accessories brand, the men\u2019s creative director set out to embrace multiple generations with his sophomore collection as men\u2019s creative director of Christian Louboutin. He spiked the presentation with plenty of fantasy, including square-toe lace-ups with all five digits demarcated in relief; a pair of zany red Sasquatch-esque slip-ons, and a black leather quiver filled with leather arrows.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is really about me wanting to tell stories<\/a>, and to evoke childlike wonder in people\u2019s minds,\u201d Smith said about the latter accessory. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of characters in some of my favorite movies who do archery, stories like \u2018Robin Hood\u2019 or \u2018Lord of the Rings.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
