In the footage, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day clip includes, “Organic webs. Peter 2 had them,” before he tests his webbing. The scene recalls Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Tobey Maguire demonstrated organic webbing to Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield. Brand New Day also nods to Maguire’s suit through raised webbing and a similar front symbol. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a script by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, and Justin Kuritzkes, the film opens in U.S. theaters on July 31, 2026.
