The signing follows several high-profile festival appearances for the singer, including J-pop festival Zipangu in Los Angeles, which she headlined, as well as the Grove Stage at Lollapalooza and Summer Sonic in Japan. Next month, she\u2019s slated to play Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, she released the \u201cautobiographical novel\u201d Vivarium. Other recent projects include the single \u201cHaru Ni Mau,\u201d the theme song for the romance reality series Today, I Fell in Love; and the upcoming release of \u201cMonstruo,\u201d the theme song for the upcoming live-action adaptation of soccer manga franchise Blue Lock, which opens Aug. 7 in Japan.<\/p>\n

\n\tAdo is known for performing inside a see-through cage that only shows her in silhouette, keeping her real identity a secret. The 23-year-old utaite singer signed to Universal Music Group in 2020. She previously charted on the Billboard Global 200 tally with \u201cNew Genesis,\u201d a song from the animated movie One Piece Film: Red, which peaked at No. 20. The album\u2019s first single, \u201cBlack Prada Dress,\u201d was released earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to a press release, Goulding has generated more than 55 billion streams and sold over 44 million albums, and is tied with Adele for boasting the most No. 1 albums by a British female artist in the U.K. In the U.S., she\u2019s charted a total of 14 singles on the Billboard Ho 100, including two top 10s (\u201cLights\u201d and \u201cLove Me Like You Do\u201d). She\u2019s also charted two albums on the Billboard 200: 2012\u2019s Halcyon and 2015\u2019s Delirium, the latter of which peaked at No. 3 on the tally. Additionally, she\u2019s written and collaborated with artists including Calvin Harris, Kygo, Skrillex, Diplo and Major Lazer. Her songs have also been sampled by artists including Drake, Jay-Z, Future, Metro Boomin and Young Thug. Goulding is a two-time Grammy nominee.<\/p>\n

\n\tOutside of music, Goulding is recognized for her advocacy work. She has served as a U.N. ambassador since 2017 and a World Wildlife Fund ambassador since 2022.
