Today, the company works with leading international brands including L’Oréal, Levi’s, Skechers, Fila, Vans, Columbia, and The North Face.

Malaysia has become an increasingly important pillar within etaily’s regional strategy. Over the past year, the company has expanded its local presence, built operational teams on the ground, and secured regional commerce mandates for global brands through partnerships with Gulf Marketing Group (GMG), one of the Middle East’s largest retail operators.

The investment is particularly strategic given etaily’s ambition to build a regional commerce infrastructure platform capable of supporting brands across multiple Southeast Asian markets through a unified technology and operating model.

Etaily will use the fresh capital to support the continued buildout of its regional infrastructure stack, including AI-enabled commerce operations, retail media capabilities, fulfillment integration, social commerce expansion, and cross-border brand growth initiatives.

“Malaysia is becoming an increasingly important pillar within our Southeast Asia cluster strategy,” said Alexander Friedhoff (pic), founder and CEO of etaily.

“Having a partner like Vynn Capital is highly strategic for us given their deep understanding of logistics, operational infrastructure, and regional scaling dynamics. Its total brand count is above 100 brands.

As consumer brands increasingly seek integrated partners capable of managing multiple Southeast Asian markets under a single operating framework, etaily believes its “online-first, offline-to-follow” model is uniquely positioned to support the next wave of regional commerce growth.

Following its expansion into Malaysia and Singapore, and with further investments planned across Indonesia, etaily expects regional operations to become an increasingly significant contributor to the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Etaily’s growth has been supported by a range of prominent investors, including major conglomerates like Ayala Corporation, Southeast Asia’s oldest conglomerate, as well as the Gokongwei Group, Landmark’s Cheng family, and the Po family behind Century Pacific Food Corporation. In 2025 etaily raised its Pre-B round by Japan’s SMBC, following its 2023 Series A which was led by an investment from Taiwan and Singapore’s Pavilion Capital, a private equity firm under Temasek Holdings.
