Lauren’s former G.R.L. bandmate Simone Battle passed away in September 2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Posting on social media, G.R.L.’s Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Paula van Oppen honoured their “beloved” Lauren, saying:<\/p>\n

“It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren.<\/p>\n

“Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.”<\/p>\n

Lauren’s former Paradiso Girls bandmate and “best friend” Aria Crescendo said:<\/p>\n

“RIP Lauren my sister my best friend I can\u2019t believe you left us . We spoke a week before it all happened and I could not imagine that would be the last time I would be able to talk to you.<\/p>\n

“Love you and miss you forever.”<\/p>\n

As a band, Paradiso Girls (Aria, Kelly Beckett, Chelsea Grace Korka and Shar Mae Amor) wrote:<\/p>\n

“It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren.<\/p>\n

“Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren.<\/p>\n

“You will always be in our hearts.”<\/p>\n

G.R.L. and Paradiso Girls creator Robin Antin paid tribute, too, simply sharing a video of Lauren on social media with dove and heart emojis.<\/p>\n

More tributes came from friends and former colleages including Girlicious stars Nichole Cordova and Natalie Mejia, The Pussycat Dolls<\/a>‘ Jessica Sutta and Australian DJ duo NERVO.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his daughter’s death, Lauren’s father Richard Bennett said:<\/p>\n

“It is with a broken heart that I share the loss of my beautiful and talented daughter, @laurenbennett, the love of my life and my pride and joy.<\/p>\n

“Lauren was an incredible person and artist: creative, talented, funny, and as humble as she was beautiful. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and made a lasting impact on countless lives through her music, her kindness, and the way she made people feel.<\/p>\n

“From an early age, it was clear that Lauren had a very special gift. She began performing professionally at just 12 years old, and watching her grow into the artist she became was one of the greatest joys of my life. Her achievements in the music industry were beyond our wildest dreams and continue to make me so proud.<\/p>\n

“Months before her death, Lauren experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication. As a family, we all rallied around her and did everything we could to support her. We have no suspicions regarding the circumstances of her death, only deep disappointment that, for five months, medical professionals and NHS services failed to treat her appropriately during her time of greatest need.<\/p>\n

“Lauren was deeply loved and will be missed every day for the rest of our lives. I hope she will be remembered for her remarkable achievements, her beautiful music, and the incredible person she was. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her family, and through the music she leaves behind.<\/p>\n

“As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we kindly ask for privacy and respect as our family grieves. We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and kindness shown by friends, fans, and everyone else who has reached during this incredibly difficult time.”<\/p>\n

Lauren first saw Official Chart success with LMFAO collaboration Party Rock Anthem, which remained at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for four weeks in 2011.<\/p>\n

As a member of G.R.L., she saw chart success with 2014’s Ugly Heart<\/a> (11) and 2015 single Lighthouse<\/a> (55).<\/p>\n

G.R.L. also featured on Pitbull<\/a>‘s 2014 smash Wild Wild Love<\/a>, which peaked at Number 6.<\/p>\n

Our thoughts are with Lauren’s family, friends and fans at this difficult time.<\/p>\n
