One year after making her hosting debut<\/a> alongside Luke Bryan<\/a> and Peyton Manning<\/a>, Lainey Wilson<\/a> is heading back to the CMAs<\/a> stage.<\/p>\n

Wilson will return as the sole host of the 59th Annual CMA Awards. \u201cI grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,\u201d the singer shared in a September press release statement. \u201cI\u2019m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can\u2019t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to hosting, Wilson finds herself tied for the most nominations this year, including a nod for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award. This year\u2019s nominees include more of country music\u2019s biggest stars, including Luke Combs<\/a>, Morgan Wallen<\/a>, Chris Stapleton<\/a>, Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>, Miranda Lambert<\/a>, and Little Big Town<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who is nominated for the 2025 CMAs?<\/p>\n

Wilson\u2019s competition for Entertainer of the Year includes Combs, Wallen, Stapleton, and Cody Johnson<\/a>. Wilson is also tied with Ella Langley<\/a> and Megan Moroney<\/a> for the most nominations of the year with a total of six. The women are nominated together in categories including Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.<\/p>\n

Wilson\u2019s album Whirlwind is also up for Album of the Year, along with Moroney\u2019s Am I Okay?, Zach Top\u2019s Cold Beer & Country Music, Post Malone<\/a>\u2018s F-1 Trillion, and Wallen\u2019s I\u2019m The Problem.<\/p>\n

Wilson, Moroney, Langley, Lambert, and Ballerini make up this year\u2019s Female Vocalist of the Year category, while Combs, Johnson, Wallen, Top, and Stapleton are all up for Male Vocalist of the Year.<\/p>\n
