Udaipur, July 10, 2026 | Udaipur Local News Fitness Challenge:\u00a0Promoting fitness and an active lifestyle during the summer season,\u00a0Bindaas Foundation\u00a0successfully concluded the fifth edition of its flagship\u00a0Summer Sungram 5.0 \u2013 30 Days Fitness Challenge. The month-long challenge witnessed enthusiastic participation from fitness lovers across India, encouraging people of all ages to stay active through cycling, running, and walking.<\/p>\n
Participants were required to remain active for at least\u00a020 days\u00a0and complete the prescribed minimum distance in their chosen category. To ensure fair competition, this year’s edition featured separate categories for\u00a0Athletes, Beginners, Men, and Women, giving participants from different fitness levels an equal opportunity to compete.<\/p>\n
The challenge attracted participants ranging from\u00a014 to 66 years of age, representing cities including\u00a0Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Beawar, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Haryana, Assam, and many other parts of the country.<\/p>\n
Cycling \u2013 Athlete Category <\/p>\n
In the Athlete Cycling category,\u00a066-year-old Nandlal Sharma\u00a0emerged as the champion for the second consecutive year by covering an impressive\u00a02,821 km.\u00a0Parbat Singh Chauhan (2,005 km)\u00a0secured second place, while\u00a0Shubham Kothari (1,812 km)\u00a0finished third.<\/p>\n
Cycling \u2013 Beginner Category <\/p>\n
In the Beginner Cycling category,\u00a0Pallav Jain (1,147 km)\u00a0claimed first place, followed by\u00a0Chitransh Kharol (806 km)\u00a0and\u00a0Ayush Devpura (516 km).\u00a0Chetan Kothari (480 km)\u00a0and\u00a0Mangal Prakash Jangid (479 km)\u00a0also finished among the Top 5.<\/p>\n
Cycling \u2013 Women’s Category <\/p>\n
In the Women’s Cycling category,\u00a0Urvi Mehta (1,067 km)\u00a0secured first place.\u00a0Khushboo Mali (708 km)\u00a0finished second, while\u00a0Advocate Shweta Sand (533 km)\u00a0claimed third position.<\/p>\n
Walk\/Run \u2013 Men’s Category <\/p>\n
In the Men’s Walk\/Run category,\u00a066-year-old Laxman Singh Rathore\u00a0delivered an outstanding performance by covering\u00a01,259 km\u00a0to secure first place.\u00a0Jaideep Goyal (1,184 km)\u00a0finished second, followed by\u00a0Bhuwan Joshi (304 km)\u00a0in third place.\u00a0Govind Kharol (298 km)\u00a0and\u00a0Suresh Choudhary (298 km)\u00a0also featured among the Top 5 finishers.<\/p>\n
Walk\/Run \u2013 Women’s Category <\/p>\n
In the Women’s Walk\/Run category,\u00a0Sneha Sarda (551 km)\u00a0emerged as the winner.\u00a0Rasmeet Arora (366 km)\u00a0secured second place, while\u00a0Neha Rathi (235 km)\u00a0finished third.\u00a0Chetna Joshi (216 km)\u00a0and\u00a0Kavita Kothari (160 km)\u00a0also made it to the Top 5.<\/p>\n
Activities Monitored Through Strava <\/p>\n
All participant activities were recorded and monitored using the\u00a0Strava\u00a0fitness application, ensuring complete transparency and accurate tracking throughout the challenge.<\/p>\n
Event Coordinator\u00a0Bheru Singh Sisodiya\u00a0said that participants included entrepreneurs, doctors, chartered accountants, lawyers, teachers, students, homemakers, retired officers, and professionals from various fields. He added that many participants were not regular athletes, yet they completed the 30-day challenge with remarkable discipline, consistency, and dedication.<\/p>\n
Govind Kharol, Founder of\u00a0Bindaas Foundation, said that the objective of\u00a0Summer Sungram\u00a0is not merely to organize a competition but to encourage people to adopt regular physical activity and make fitness an integral part of their daily lives.<\/p>\n
“The enthusiasm, discipline, and consistency shown by participants have been the biggest achievements of this initiative. The overwhelming response to Summer Sungram 5.0 has made this edition more successful and inspiring than ever before,”\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n
