Rajiv Sabharwal<\/p>\nMumbai: Tata Asset Management Private Limited (TAMPL), the investment manager of Tata Mutual Fund, has announced a series of leadership appointments aimed at ensuring continuity, strengthening governance, and supporting the company\u2019s long-term growth strategy.<\/p>\n
As part of the transition, Prathit Bhobe stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective July 7, 2026. The Board acknowledged his leadership and contributions during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavours.<\/p>\n
The company has appointed Anand Vardarajan as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director with effect from July 10, 2026.<\/p>\n
Vardarajan has been associated with Tata Asset Management since 2018 and most recently served as Chief Business Officer. With more than 24 years of experience across banking, wealth management, and financial services, he has played a key role in driving the company\u2019s business growth. Before joining Tata Asset Management, he held leadership positions at ICICI Bank and Citibank.<\/p>\n
In another key leadership move, Hemant Kumar has been appointed Chief Business Officer. In his new role, he will oversee the company\u2019s retail, institutional businesses, products, alliances, digital, and data functions.<\/p>\n
Kumar brings over 21 years of experience in banking and financial services. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Distribution and Digital Officer at Tata Asset Management, where he led the company\u2019s distribution and digital businesses.<\/p>\n
