Here is what\u2019s happening on TV from Sunday, July 12 to Saturday, July 18. All times are Eastern.<\/p>\n<p>Lucky (Apple TV, Wednesday, series premiere) In this Apple TV adaptation of the best-selling Marissa Stapley novel, Anya Taylor-Joy plays titular con artist Lucky Armstrong, who lives up to her name when she comes into possession of a lottery ticket worth millions of dollars. Only thing is, if she cashes the slip, she\u2019ll attract the attention of both the FBI agents and the ruthless crime boss (played by none other than Annette Bening) who have been hot on her tail since her last failed heist. Along with Taylor-Joy and Bening, the Lucky cast includes Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Drew Starkey. The first two episodes will drop on Wednesday, and The A.V. Club will have our review on Tuesday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ride Or Die (Prime Video, Wednesday, series premiere) The delightful duo of Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham lead this Amazon action-adventure comedy as best friends Debbie Claybourne and Judith Burton, the latter of whom just happens to secretly be a highly trained international assassin. After a hit goes wrong, both of their lives are upended, sending them on the run across Europe with dogged law enforcement and dangerous criminals nipping at their heels. Bill Nighy, Ed Skrein, and Sylvia Hoeks round out the energetic ensemble. Look out for The A.V. Club\u2019s review on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Hawk (Netflix, Thursday, series premiere) He drove for NASCAR glory in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/talladega-nights-the-ballad-of-ricky-bobby-1798201920\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby<\/a>, hit the ice in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/blades-of-glory-1798202508\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Blades Of Glory<\/a>, coached youth soccer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/kicking-screaming-1798200735\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kicking &amp; Screaming<\/a>, and took it to the hoop in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/semi-pro-1798203956\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Semi-Pro<\/a>\u2014now Will Ferrell expands his sports-comedy repertoire with this golf-focused Netflix series. The comedy icon stars as Lonnie \u201cThe Hawk\u201d Hawkins, a way-past-his-prime pro desperate for one final major title, much to the chagrin of his exasperated family. (Fellow Saturday Night Live legend Molly Shannon plays Lonnie\u2019s estranged wife Stacy, with American Vandal\u2019s Jimmy Tatro as son Lance.) The A.V. Club\u2019s review comes swinging in on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Heartstopper Forever (Netflix, Friday, movie premiere) After three seasons and 24 episodes, high-school sweethearts Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) will get their happily-ever-after\u2014we hope!\u2014with this feature-length finale of the fan-favorite romance series.
