{"id":539175,"date":"2026-07-13T12:20:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T12:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/539175\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T12:20:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T12:20:11","slug":"event-to-celebrate-black-country-mental-health-ambassadors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/539175\/","title":{"rendered":"Event to celebrate Black Country mental health ambassadors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Mental health ambassadors in the Black Country are being celebrated at an event in Wolverhampton. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust said the event would &#8220;shine a spotlight&#8221; on the achievements of the ambassadors working in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It will take place in The Bank on Thursday from 10:00 until 13:00 BST.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Ambassadors have gathered feedback, shared experiences and helped shape fairer, more inclusive and anti-racist mental health services,&#8221; the trust said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It added: &#8220;The celebration event will bring together community members, people with lived experience, Black Country Healthcare colleagues, partner organisations and stakeholders to celebrate the progress made so far and explore how community-led change can continue to improve mental health services across the Black Country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The event was intended to demonstrate Black Country Healthcare&#8217;s commitment to listening to communities and learning from their experiences, the trust said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Anyone with an interest in improving mental health services, is being encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Mental health ambassadors in the Black Country are being celebrated at an event in Wolverhampton.
