The 29-year-old Spider-Man actor sweetly corrected a reporter during a recent panel event when the man referenced Zendaya<\/a> as being Holland\u2019s girlfriend.<\/p>\n In the clip circulating on X<\/a>, the off-camera reporter can be heard saying, \u201cI brought my daughter and she got to meet your girlfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n Tom laughs and replies, \u201cFianc\u00e9e.\u201d<\/p>\n This seemingly marks the first time Tom has publicly spoken about his engagement to his 29-year-old Marvel costar since the news broke in January that the longtime couple would be heading down the aisle.<\/p>\n James Devaney\/GC Images<\/p>\n Tom Holland and Zendaya in New York City in October 2024.<\/p>\n Shortly after, Tom\u2019s father, Dominic Holland, confirmed the engagement<\/a> in a Patreon post, sharing a few details in the process.<\/p>\n “Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared,” Dominic wrote. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out\u2026 When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”<\/p>\n As was previously reported, Tom popped the question between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays in late 2024. They’re trying to be as private as possible. There won’t be a Vogue spread or there won’t be pictures of the wedding and the people who she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see,” Roach said at the time.<\/p>\n And the two stars appear to be taking their time with the wedding planning.
