Previously announced\u00a0director\u00a0Noriyuki Abe<\/a>\u00a0(Bleach,\u00a0Flame of Recca<\/a>,\u00a0GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka<\/a>) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN<\/a>. Rika Takasugi<\/a> (\u014coku: The Inner Chambers<\/a>,\u00a0Yakuza Fianc\u00e9: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii<\/a>) is in charge of series scripts, Eiji Abiko<\/a> (Mr. Osomatsu<\/a> seasons 3 & 4,\u00a0Even a Replica Can Fall in Love<\/a>) is designing the characters, and Takeshi Hama<\/a> (Champignon Witch<\/a>,\u00a0Idol Time PriPara<\/a>) is composing the music.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut on the Tokyo MX<\/a> channel on October 4 at 24:00 JST (effectively October 5 at 12 midnight JST), then on October 10 on ABC<\/a> TV, and on October 13 on WOWOW<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viz Media\u00a0publishes the manga in English and describes the story:<\/p>\n

On her way home from school one day, Noriko is unexpectedly plunged into a strange and extraordinary fantasy world. Her troubles compound exponentially when she is rescued and befriended by a handsome young man by the name of Izark.<\/p>\n

He may be brave and courageous, but inside Izark lurks the darkest evil imaginable. And according to an ancient prophecy, Noriko possesses the power to unleash that evil. Now, inexorably bound together, these two unlikely allies must navigate a world both wondrous and hostile.<\/p>\n

The manga ran in\u00a0Hakusensha<\/a>‘s\u00a0LaLa<\/a>\u00a0magazine from 1991 to 2002.\u00a0Hakusensha\u00a0published the manga’s 14th and final compiled book volume in 2003.\u00a0Hakusensha\u00a0released the manga’s Bunko edition in seven volumes from 2004-2005.<\/p>\n
