During a Saturday Fanatics Fest event in New York City, New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo showed why he’s about to get a major earful from his coaches.<\/p>\n
Skattebo is recovering from a “open tibia fracture and ruptured deltoid ligament in addition to a right ankle dislocation,” per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, that ended his 2025 rookie season.<\/p>\n
However, he showed off where he had surgery on his leg at Fanatics Fest right before doing the stupidest possible thing imaginable with said recovering leg. He attempted a backflip to showboat before tumbling to the ground.<\/p>\n
Behaving like a doofus after such a major injury is… a great way to get yourself in hot water with your new coaching staff. We’re sure new Giants coach John Harbaugh loves seeing Skattebo behaving like a toddler.<\/p>\n
Seriously, if you’re a Giants fan, you’re begging Skattebo to never do this ever again.<\/p>\n
Trying to pull something like this off such a major injury is just beyond ridiculous. Somebody has to get in this guy’s ear and tell him to grow up.<\/p>\n
If he got re-injured on that leg, it could put his whole 2026 season, and potentially his career in jeopardy.<\/p>\n
Kids, quite literally, don’t try this at home.<\/p>\n
