{"id":550931,"date":"2026-07-20T17:57:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T17:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/550931\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T17:57:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T17:57:11","slug":"donald-trump-benjamin-netanyahu-will-not-be-arrested-if-he-visits-us-despite-zohran-mamdani-threats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/550931\/","title":{"rendered":"Donald Trump: Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested if he visits US, despite Zohran Mamdani threats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/international\/article-902872\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">arrested if he visits the US<\/a>, US President Donald Trump insisted in a post on Truth Social on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Netanyahu &#8220;is fighting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which recently killed 52,000 innocent protestors, and has spent the last 47 years killing American soldiers, and others,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The only individuals who should be arrested, Trump added, are those who \u201cled Iran into this unprecedented spiral of death and destruction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump was referring to comments made by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who told the New York Times that Netanyahu belongs in the Hague, and that he is investigating arresting the PM at the UN General Assembly in September.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate post, Trump stated that for every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-902880\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US soldier killed<\/a>, Iran will pay \u201cmany times over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cEvery time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay for that killing many times over,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Trump also stated that he has passed a directive to enforce his words onto US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen.
