{"id":551817,"date":"2026-07-21T06:04:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T06:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/551817\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T06:04:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T06:04:12","slug":"sydneys-smallest-apartment-type-receives-planning-approval","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/551817\/","title":{"rendered":"Sydney\u2019s smallest apartment type receives planning approval"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new compact apartment typology designed by Cox Architecture has received planning approval in Sydney as part of a build-to-rent (BTR) redevelopment of the former Taubmans Paint Factory, known as Precinct 75.<\/p>\n<p>The dwelling type, roughly 30 square metres in size, is the smallest approved in Sydney, according to the architect.<\/p>\n<p>It will debut at developer Coronation\u2019s Precinct 75 project at St Peters, which comprises approximately 470 apartments, ranging from the smallest \u201ccity starter\u201d and \u201ccity stayer\u201d studio typologies, up to three-bedroom apartments.<\/p>\n<p>Director at Cox Architecture and the project\u2019s design lead Felipe Miranda said, \u201cOur design for the \u2018city starter\u2019 at Precinct 75 brings architecture and interior design together to support everyday living.
