Bournemouth’s Kroupi has been reclassified from a forward to a midfielder after mainly featuring as a No 10 behind centre-forward Evanilson in his breakout Fantasy campaign last season.

Despite playing in a central support role, Kroupi enjoyed a prolific 2025/26 by scoring 13 goals over 33 appearances.

The Frenchman’s 134.0 minutes per goal was over 50 minutes quicker than Antoine Semenyo, whose average of 188.2 was the fastest among regular starters in midfield last season.

The positional change also means Kroupi will earn more points from goals and clean sheets as a midfielder, indicating he could play a bigger part in Fantasy managers’ plans this season.

Manchester United’s Dorgu changes from a defender to a midfielder in 2026/27 due to how he was used by Michael Carrick during the second half of the previous campaign.

The Dane was limited to only three starts after Carrick took charge in Gameweek 22, but he played as a left winger AND scored in all of them.

He netted against Arsenal and Manchester City, while he produced a goal and an assist against Brighton & Hove Albion.

When assessed against his midfield team-mates Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo under Carrick last season, Dorgu fares well.

His 33.2 minutes per shot was the quickest of the trio, while he matched Cunha’s total of three big chances (situations where a player is expected to score), despite playing over 800 minutes fewer than the Brazilian.

Man City’s Marmoush, meanwhile, moves from a midfielder to a forward this season.

The Egyptian was utilised up front by Pep Guardiola in his final campaign in charge last season, scoring three goals and assisting a further three.

Elsewhere, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Mats Wieffer changes from a midfielder to a defender, having played as a right-back in 2025/26, while Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly switches from a defender to a midfielder.

The Scout provides analysis of the key players who have been reclassified this season The Scout reveals the…

[9
85,46,105,4277
post-552085","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-sports","tag-text
["GET
