Rogers and Palmer join Premier League’s best bromances<\/p>\n
Morgan Rogers<\/a>\u2019 reunion with best friend Cole Palmer<\/a> at Chelsea<\/a> makes them the Premier League\u2019s latest bromance.<\/p>\n New Blues signing Rogers has known Palmer since he was 14, playing with him for England at youth and senior level and Manchester City<\/a>\u2019s academy.<\/p>\n Following news of his close mate\u2019s arrival from Aston Villa<\/a>, Palmer posted an Instagram story of old pictures of the pair, with the caption: \u201cPlaying for Chelsea with one of your best friends in life.\u201d<\/p>\n On his friendship with Palmer, Rogers told Chelsea\u2019s website<\/a>: \u201cWe\u2019ve been speaking about this for a while, that we would always love to play together.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s been non-stop ringing my phone, texting me, and I can\u2019t wait. I think that\u2019s probably the most special thing, playing with one of your best friends and being around him every day. It\u2019s something I\u2019m really excited about.\u201d<\/p>\n Rogers also hopes he and Palmer get to do their \u2018\u2018cold\u2019\u2019 celebration together, adding: \u201cI don\u2019t see why not. Hopefully we both can score loads of goals so we both get chance to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n Past Premier League bromances include Dele Alli<\/a> and Eric Dier<\/a>, with the former Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> team-mates even appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox together.<\/p>\n Gary Neville<\/a> and Sir David Beckham<\/a> were best friends at Manchester United<\/a>, with the former being best man at the latter\u2019s wedding to Spice Girls star Victoria in 1999.<\/p>\n Patrice Evra<\/a> grew so close to Park Ji-sung<\/a> at Man Utd that he asked him to be godfather to his son.<\/p>\n Alexandre Lacazette<\/a> described fellow striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a> as like his \u201cbrother\u201d during their time together at Arsenal<\/a>, famously celebrating goals with each other by shaking hands and bowing.<\/p>\n Scroll from left to right<\/p>\n Iraola wants to keep Mac Allister and Alisson<\/p>\n New Liverpool<\/a> head coach Andoni Iraola has addressed the futures of Alexis Mac Allister<\/a> and Alisson Becker<\/a> \u2013 insisting he wants the experienced duo to stay at the club.<\/p>\n Midfielder Mac Allister, who helped Argentina reach the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, reportedly has two years left on his Reds contract, while goalkeeper Alisson has only one year remaining on his deal.<\/p>\n \u201cI think Alexis has been one of the best players at the club for the last few years, and he has had a very good World Cup,\u201d Iraola said at a press conference<\/a> at the start of Liverpool\u2019s pre-season tour of the United States.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is normal that other clubs want our best players, but I want to keep my good players.\u201d<\/p>\n On Alisson, Iraola said: \u201cI\u2019m very happy with the situation we have right now in the goalkeeping area.<\/p>\n \u201cIn a changing room that has lost some references in terms of experience, Alisson is someone that will help us in this process of adaptation of the new players, the young players.\u201d<\/p>\n Iraola also revealed right-back Conor Bradley<\/a> is still \u201cmonths\u201d away from returning from the knee injury he sustained in January, meaning he is keen to sign a new defender this summer.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a situation that is tricky, because we trust Conor in the long term, we know we want him to be our right-back, but right now he is still a little bit far from returning,\u201d added Iraola.<\/p>\n \u201cIn terms of defensive depth, we are very thin right now, so I think it\u2019s a solution that we are trying to find.\u201d<\/p>\n De Zerbi hints at more Spurs signings<\/p>\n Spurs\u2019 busy transfer window is not over yet, according to their head coach Roberto De Zerbi.<\/p>\n The club have already brought in six new players in the form of Andy from Celtic, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n Sky Sports claim a transfer fee has been agreed in principle between the clubs, with Maeda now set to become Ipswich\u2019s latest summer
