A national wealth management firm has opened its first Connecticut office in Stamford.<\/p>\n
Seattle-based Brighton Jones said the new office is located at 700 Canal St. and will be led by Robert Bennett Jr., a certified financial planner who previously worked at Round Rock Advisors, where he developed financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and families.<\/p>\n
Earlier in his career, Bennett worked as an insurance sales agent at New York Life Insurance Co.<\/p>\n
According to the firm’s website, the Stamford location is Brighton Jones’ first office in Connecticut. The company also announced the opening of an office serving the Detroit market.<\/p>\n
Brighton Jones said it advises more than 5,500 clients and had more than $30 billion in assets under advisement as of April 1.<\/p>\n
