(WHP) \u2014 A sculpture in Harrisburg that was first created out of a tree damaged by a storm recently met the same fate.<\/p>\n<p>City officials confirmed Friday that the sculpture, which sat along Front Street, suffered extensive damages from recent stormy weather.<\/p>\n<p>Honoring the region&#8217;s Native American Heritage, the &#8220;First River School&#8221; sculpture was carved during the Kipona Festival in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The city said their public works department has started the process of finding a new tree to carve and replace the old one.<\/p>\n<p>A timeline for that replacement has not been released.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"HARRISBURG, Pa.
