Max Verstappen was left to rue what he deemed as worsening issues in a \u201creally tough\u201d Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Dutchman ending the session in P6 after suffering a spin during his final run.<\/p>\n
While Friday had looked decent for Red Bull<\/a> on the timesheets \u2013 with Verstappen<\/a> ending each practice session in second and fourth respectively \u2013 the four-time World Champion stated later on that he had struggled to find \u201cgood balance\u201d in the car.<\/p>\n It seemed that the problems had continued into Saturday, Verstappen having spun in the final moments of Qualifying before reporting that his RB22 was \u201ccompletely broken\u201d, leaving him in sixth place on the grid.<\/p>\n Quizzed afterwards on how difficult it had been to get performance out of his car, the 28-year-old said: \u201cI mean, the whole weekend\u2019s been tough but in Qualifying especially, the car is just degrading \u2013 we don\u2019t have tyre deg, we have car degradation.<\/p>\n \u201cI really can\u2019t make anything out of it \u2013 it\u2019s just really, really tough. The car suddenly just started oversteering a lot. Honestly every lap that I did in Qualifying just was worse and worse, so it\u2019s not good.\u201d<\/p>\n In terms of whether he has any ideas on what the cause of the troubles might be, Verstappen suggested that the nature of the issues continues to change.<\/p>\n \u201cWe keep having different problems all the time and that\u2019s probably the biggest issue at the moment, that there is always something else that arises, and that\u2019s not good,\u201d the Red Bull driver conceded.<\/p>\n
