Pixar\u2019s Toy Story 5 crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office over the weekend, becoming the studio\u2019s sixth film to reach the milestone.<\/p>\n
The sequel added an estimated $34.7 million worldwide during its sixth weekend in theaters, including $10 million in the U.S. and Canada. That was good enough for third place domestically and worldwide, behind The Odyssey and Disney\u2019s live-action Moana in North America and The Odyssey and All Wishes Come True! globally.<\/p>\n
Directed by franchise vet Andrew Stanton and co-directed by McKenna Harris, Toy Story 5 has now earned $448.6 million domestically and $573.5 million internationally, bringing its worldwide total to $1.02 billion.<\/p>\n

Toy Story 5 is the highest-grossing film of 2026 to date and the year\u2019s third billion-dollar release, following The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Michael.

\nIt has already become the highest-grossing Toy Story film in North America, passing the fourth film\u2019s $434 million lifetime total and Toy Story 3\u2019s $415 million.
