\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Billy Zane<\/a>\u00a0(Titanic),\u00a0John Billingsley<\/a>\u00a0(Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBen\u00e9t Ramsey),\u00a0Scottie Thompson<\/a>\u00a0(NCIS) and\u00a0Bonnie Root<\/a>\u00a0(Don\u2019t Let Them Out) have signed for writer-director-actor\u00a0Philippe Caland<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0neo noir thriller\u00a0Milliseconds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is billed as a complex mystery about a reclusive former painter who becomes drawn into an investigation involving a suicide hotline, unraveling long-buried connections and hidden truths from the past.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cast also includes\u00a0Elijah Lynn Langston, making his feature film debut, and\u00a0Kevin Ryan\u00a0(Harry Wild, The Rainmaker), along with\u00a0Don Wallace\u00a0and\u00a0Jason Lee Daniel.<\/p>\n

\n\tCaland will produce under his Junto House Films banner, alongside co-producers Root and Cynthia Bravo, with Zane serving as executive producer. Cinematographer Gonzalo Digenio is also attached.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project will shoot in L.A., against sweeping views of the cityscape, local architectural landmarks, and a locale in the fire impacted Alta Dena area.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am\u00a0particularly fascinated by the power of art and the creative process to confront, heal, and reveal one\u2019s authentic self,\u201d said Caland.\u00a0 \u201cMilliseconds\u00a0explores the journey of loss, grief, destruction and transformation, the process of metamorphosis, life and death, rebirth, and the narratives and belief\u00a0systems\u00a0that often imprison\u00a0us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is Caland\u2019s sixth feature directorial credit after films such as Hollywood Buddha and Ripple Effect, The Guru\u00a0and the Gypsy,\u00a0and\u00a0Repentance, all of which he also wrote and produced. <\/p>\n

\n\tHaving originally broken out as a writer and producer on\u00a0Jennifer Lynch\u2019s Boxing Helena, Caland also produced\u00a0Dead Girl, Infinity, and\u00a0Loved.<\/p>\n

\n\tBilly Zane earned global recognition as Cal Hockley in\u00a0Titanic, his villainous role in\u00a0Dead Calm, and as the heroic lead in\u00a0The Phantom.\u00a0He\u00a0has appeared in over 100 films, actively produced many, and recently garnered attention for portraying Marlon Brando in\u00a0Waltzing with Brando.\u00a0He is repped by Paradigm Talent Agency.<\/p>\n
