Musician Suki Waterhouse said that her 2-year-old daughter, whom she shares with fianc\u00e9 Robert Pattinson, isn\u2019t really bothered by Pattinson\u2019s slightly scary costume and makeup that he wears while playing Batman. <\/p>\n
In fact, it seems the toddler is embracing her dad\u2019s alter-ego. <\/p>\n
During an appearance on a recent episode of the \u201cAnd The Writer Is\u201d podcast<\/a>, Waterhouse, 34, revealed the sweet nickname the toddler uses when she sees Pattinson, 40, as the vigilante. <\/p>\n \u201cShe calls him, like, \u2018Daddy Batman\u2019 now because he\u2019s always dressed up like that for the next seven months whenever he\u2019s on FaceTime,\u201d said the singer, who gave birth to the baby girl in 2024. <\/p>\n During the podcast episode, Waterhouse opened up about being a mom, revealing how her daughter processes her parents\u2019 unique jobs. <\/p>\n The couple have not publicly revealed their daughter\u2019s name. <\/p>\n The songwriter told host fellow musician Ross Golan that her daughter understands that Waterhouse is a musician and that her dad dons a cape and mask to portray Batman. She shared the funny moment that she and her daughter had on FaceTime with Pattinson, who called them from the set of the long-anticipated \u201cThe Batman\u201d sequel, \u201cThe Batman Part II,\u201d which is currently in production. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s on FaceTime to her dad who today is covered in blood with huge black circles around his eyes and I\u2019m like, \u2018Hi, is it fine?\u2019 And we\u2019re just like, \u2018It\u2019s fine,\u2019\u201d she told Golan.<\/p>\n While Pattinson is away filming, Waterhouse has been enjoying some mother-daughter bonding time. She shared on the podcast that she and her daughter were flipping through a book the other day, when the toddler spotted a girl holding a guitar. <\/p>\n \u201cShe was like, \u2018That\u2019s your job,\u2019\u201d she recalled to Golan.<\/p>\n Waterhouse said her daughter had been watching her play guitar and practice her set as she prepared for her \u201cLoveland Tour,\u201d<\/a> which kicked off on July 22 in Phoenix, Arizona. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019ll say, like, \u2018mommy songs\u2019 (and) I\u2019ll show her my music videos and stuff and so it\u2019s cool,\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n Waterhouse added that her daughter enjoys sitting in on glam sessions with her hair and makeup team and looking at the different nail polish options. <\/p>\n Waterhouse and Pattinson, who were first spotted together in 2018<\/a>, have both opened up about their family and the experience of raising a daughter. <\/p>\n When Waterhouse stopped by TODAY in December 2024, she gushed that she was \u201ccompletely and utterly besotted\u201d with her baby girl. <\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know that it would be this good,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n After her appearance, she spoke with TODAY.com<\/a> and talked about how excited she was to be taking her daughter on tour for the first time. <\/p>\n She explained, \u201cThere\u2019s so many hours before you get on stage of walking around, being in a different city \u2014 doing that with her will be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n Waterhouse also shared that her favorite moment of the day was playing in the pool with her daughter and fianc\u00e9. <\/p>\n \u201cWe have, like, a routine of putting her in the swimming pool and jumping in and out of the pool,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s just always the most fun, like, end of the day, 5 p.m., we all get in the pool and be silly. It\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n Pattinson has also talked about parenthood, discussing how he has grown since becoming a father in an interview with Icon Magazine<\/a> published in October 2025. <\/p>\n The proud dad said, \u201cI have so much more patience. It\u2019s funny, it\u2019s not even patience; I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies. That surprised me.\u201d <\/p>\n He playfully added, \u201cIt\u2019s also funny how you start having real, normie conversations \u2014 about things like schools or daycares\u2026 it\u2019s so strange. It\u2019s like, there\u2019s this gravitational pull\u2026Like, I have to wear Patagonia puffer jackets and cargo shorts now. I just have to.\u201d <\/p>\n
