Last year, Tewksbury\u2019s Jesse Rosenwald and Jessica Bosworth had a secret to keep.<\/p>\n

They won Season 15 of \u201cMasterChef.\u201d Gordon Ramsay handed them the trophy. They won the $250K prize.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And when filming wrapped, they bit their tongues for months.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Finally, on Sept. 17, it was time for the season finale. They gathered friends and family at Fine Line in Revere for a watch party.<\/p>\n

The room watched the screen as Ramsay announced the Massachusetts couple as winners. Rosenwald picked up Bosworth, twirling her around as golden confetti rained down. Sparklers went off. Bosworth held the trophy above her head and screamed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so freaking proud of this man,\u201d Bosworth told the camera.<\/p>\n

Rosenwald added: \u201cI can\u2019t tell you how much I love this woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Revere, the room erupted, whooping and cheering as, on screen, confetti rained down on the couple of 10 years.<\/p>\n

But Rosenwald, 43, had been keeping one more secret.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was giving a thank you speech to everyone who came out to the watch-party. Then I said: \u2018I have one more question.\u2019 I got down on one knee. And the cheering started all over again,\u2019\u201d Rosenwald said this week in a phone interview from the couple\u2019s Tewkesbury home.<\/p>\n

In the video, Bosworth, 43, clasps her hands to her face. He steadies her by touching her leg, and grins. The crowd erupts.<\/p>\n

\u201cPure shock,\u201d said Bosworth.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was already overwhelming to finally release the secret we\u2019d been holding for months about our win. When he dropped to one knee, I was like, \u2018Oh my God, I can\u2019t believe this is happening,\u2019\u201d she said with a laugh.\u00a0 \u201cHe\u2019s terrible at keeping secrets, especially from me. So I don\u2019t know how he pulled it off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Theirs was already a story that already read like a Boston movie.<\/p>\n

Two South Shore kids who grew up watching Cambridge\u2019s Julia Child on GBH, and hanging at the same mall, had a meet-cute bartending at a Boston restaurant years later. While tending bar, food became their love language. <\/p>\n

The Bourdain<\/a> fans had an epic 40-day-long first date, eating their way through Europe. In their 40s, the self-taught cooks tried out for \u201cMasterChef,\u201d made it on, then won by cooking a \u201cculinary love letter to New England.\u201d Invested their winnings in culinary dreams \u2014 including making South Shore bar pizzas.<\/p>\n

After their win<\/a>, it felt like Hollywood couldn\u2019t have scripted a better story. Wrong.<\/p>\n

Tonight is their Hollywood ending.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Massachusetts couple will marry on \u201cMasterChef\u201d \u2014 in a castle \u2014 \u00a0in a wedding officiated by Gordon Ramsay.<\/p>\n

\u201cMasterChef\u201d bills the New Englanders as show royalty, and the episode as a\u00a0 \u201croyal wedding.\u201d We\u2019re all invited. Watch them wed Wednesday night on FOX at 8 p.m., and next day on Hulu.<\/p>\n

\u201cI pronounce you \u2013 after far too long \u2013 husband and wife,\u201d we see Ramsay say in the teaser link as the couple laughs.<\/p>\n

After the \u201cI do\u201d-s, current Season 16 contestants compete to make the best dishes for their wedding reception. Bride and groom aren\u2019t official judges but\u00a0 weigh-in on dishes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019d gone on the show together, we won together, we got engaged after the finale \u2014 to have Gordon marry us, it felt completely full circle,\u201d Bosworth said.<\/p>\n

A few weeks after making their engagement Instagram Official<\/a>, a \u201cMasterChef\u201d showrunner reached out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018Congratulations, this is so cool. We\u2019re still putting together next season\u2019s field challenges \u2014 I can\u2019t promise you yes yet \u2014 but what are your thoughts about getting married by Gordon on TV?\u2019\u201d said Rosenwald. \u201cWe\u2019re like, \u2018Absolutely. We\u2019re in.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Weeks went by.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Just when they figured it \u201cdidn\u2019t pan out, we got a text from him, saying: \u2018It\u2019s on\u2019 with fire emojis,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

If you watched last season, you know why the show might want them back.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple had Boston charm in spades. They brought a certain hometown charisma, a la Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams in \u201cThe Fighter<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

When they won a round, he\u2019d lift Bosworth off her feet<\/a>, twirl her around. They called each other \u201cbaby.\u201d Fed each other bites. Pecked each other on the cheek. And her authentic dropped-ah Boston accent (Revere is \u201cReveah\u201d) is the type that makes people go viral.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe bonded over food. It\u2019s always been such a major part of our relationship,\u201d said Bosworth. \u201cSo to have a huge milestone like our wedding go through \u2018MasterChef,\u2019 it made sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

In January, a few months after he popped the question, they were in Toronto to film their wedding in Casa Loma Castle<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They invited some 50 guests \u2014 friends, family and fellow Season 15 contestants.\u00a0 Pre-wedding jitters were coupled, at first, with on-camera jitters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, getting married is emotional as it is. But when you stop filming a show for a while, you forget what it\u2019s like to be in front of cameras,\u201d\u00a0 Rosenwald said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But being back on camera \u201cwas like riding a bike,\u201d Bosworth said. \u201cYou just fell right back into it. And it was awesome to reconnect with Gordon and the other judges again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reception was catered by Season 16 contestants who were competing for best dishes. The newlyweds weighed in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, and their \u201croyal wedding\u201d was a legal one \u2014 Ramsay officially married them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was it,\u201d she said with a laugh.<\/p>\n

While they plan on hosting an off-camera reception later in Vermont, they\u2019ve been too busy working on their start-up businesses to plan a honeymoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Record-scratch: You might be wondering how they got here\u2026<\/p>\n

Bosworth, a Halifax native, and Rosenwald, a Plymouth native, ostensibly met while bartending at Boston\u2019s Tia\u2019s<\/a> about 10 years ago.<\/p>\n

But they\u2019d grown up not far apart, both hanging at the Kingston Mall. \u201cThe mall food court was my second home back then,\u201d she told me previously<\/a> with a laugh.<\/p>\n

Rosenwald grew up in Plymouth, studied culinary at Plymouth South High School, graduating in \u201901. He bartended at Cask \u2019n Flagon near Fenway Park, and Bacco Ristorante & Bar in the North End among other spots.<\/p>\n

He started bartending the House of Blues around 2009, where Jessica also bartended, though at a different section.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bosworth grew up in Halifax, graduated from Silver Lake Regional High in 2001. She bartended on Lansdowne Street at Jillian\u2019s and Lucky Strike \u201cfor years,\u201d as well as the old Whiskey\u2019s on Boylston.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then around 10 years ago, they both ended up at Tia\u2019s in Boston. <\/p>\n

The businesses<\/p>\n

While they both have day jobs \u2014 she works at McGuire and Company in Wakefield; he\u2019s a GM of a corporate cafe in Waltham \u2014 they also have their passion-businesses.<\/p>\n

When Jesse and Jess\u2019s powers combine, they are JSquaredEatz<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Together the South Shore bar pizza<\/a>-lovers have 10 Inches Pizza<\/a>, classic South Shore bar pies.\u00a0 It\u2019s named for the 10-inch pan used to cook bar-style pizza,\u00a0 which they both grew up eating.<\/p>\n

Their pizza goal, he said, is to eventually sell to grocery store chains, a la Cape Cod Cafe Pizza in Market Basket.<\/p>\n

They also offer private dinners<\/a>, and also recently started The Sandwich Cookie Co. by JSquaredEatz<\/a>. They describe them as \u201cnostalgic sandwich cookies,\u201d \u201ca riff off of oatmeal cream pies, like Little Debbie\u201d and \u201can ode to New England.\u201d<\/p>\n

For example, they have the \u201cLittle Wynnie\u201d named after their dog. \u201cInstead of oatmeal raisin, like Little Debbie, it\u2019s oatmeal with dried Maine blueberries,\u201d\u00a0 Rosenwald said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOur buttercream filling is a Fluff buttercream. So again, an ode to New England fluff, based out of Somerville,\u201d said Bosworth.<\/p>\n

Their next goal is to open an artisanal provisions and deli, with space for catering, pop-ups, private events, cooking classes, they said. They\u2019re not sure yet on a name or location \u2014 possibly the North Shore.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019d be able to sell our pizza and cookies, carry artisanal products from local vendors and higher quality purveyors, and make artisanal sandwiches,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Would they do another competition cooking show?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talk about it all the time. Jess is like, \u2018I think I\u2019m good with competition cooking,\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018I want more,\u2019\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cIf \u2018MasterChef\u2019 invited us back for a reunion of sorts, we\u2019d absolutely do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve also bonded with other \u201cMasterChef\u201d contestants. Recently they met up with Season 14\u2019s Kamay Lafalaise and Season 16\u2019s Aishu Challa at Gordon Ramsay Burger in Boston and \u201cdid our own little review. We thought it\u2019d be funny to throw it back in Gordon\u2019s face,\u201d he said with a laugh.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Given their history, will they have any big surprise announcements at this coming watch-party on Wednesday?<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, no pregnancy announcement \u2014 although that would be cool,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cNo surprises. We\u2019re gonna enjoy the moment because filming your wedding is crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know everybody\u2019s wedding goes by so fast,\u201d said Bosworth, \u201cbut having your wedding filmed for TV goes by really fast.\u201d<\/p>\n
