{"id":566881,"date":"2026-07-30T13:00:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/566881\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T13:00:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:00:08","slug":"comptroller-election-scandal-sharren-haskel-summoned-to-give-witness-testimony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/566881\/","title":{"rendered":"Comptroller election scandal: Sharren Haskel summoned to give witness testimony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MK Sharren Haskel was summoned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-897552\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lahav 433<\/a> to testify regarding the election of the state comptroller, which the High Court of Justice ruled invalid, Haskel&#8217;s spokesperson confirmed to the Jerusalem Post.<\/p>\n<p>One week earlier, Haskel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/politics-and-diplomacy\/article-903431\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">alleged in a sworn affidavit<\/a> that members of the New Hope-United Right faction were required to film themselves voting for Michael Rabello as state comptroller and show the footage to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as proof of how they voted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The claim conflicts with the position presented by the Likud during the legal proceedings over Rabello\u2019s election.
