The film remains action-heavy and perilous throughout, taking a thematically darker, more mature direction than previous \u201cSpider-Man\u201d installments. <\/p>\n

Living in the aftermath of a mass memory-erasing spell cast in \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home,\u201d Peter Parker (Tom Holland) lives extremely isolated in a world that no longer remembers him \u2014 including his best friend, Ned (Jacob Batalon), and former girlfriend, MJ (Zendaya). <\/p>\n

As the threat of a new villain that can telepathically possess everyday people emerges, and the pain of being forgotten remains fresh, Peter\u2019s arachnid instincts begin to overwhelm him, triggering episodes of uncontrolled violence. <\/p>\n

After seeing \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day,\u201d I can confirm the film contains some language along with moderate action and violence throughout. Overall, it is on par with previous installments in the \u201cSpider-Man\u201d franchise. <\/p>\n

\u201cBrand New Day\u201d does have a darker edge than previous installments. <\/p>\n

The film contains several high-stakes moments of peril, including car chases, gunfire, explosions and large-scale destruction. Bladed weapons, electronic weapons, tranquilizers and combat scenes also appear throughout the film. <\/p>\n

There are also depictions of kidnapping, mild torture and telepathic possession as well as injuries, bloody wounds and mild gore. <\/p>\n
