\n\tBenny Safdie\u2019s upcoming fantasy movie \u201cLizard Music<\/a>\u201d has added newcomer Arya Parvathi<\/a> in her feature film debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tParvathi\u2019s role has yet to be disclosed, but she joins a cast that includes Dwayne Johnson (playing a 70-year-old man whose best friend is a 111-year-old chicken), Alicia Silverstone, Regina Hall, Tim Heidecker and Theo Leber. Safdie directs and wrote the script, which is based on the Daniel Pinkwater novel of the same name.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLizard Music\u201d follows a boy (Leber) who, left to his own devices, stumbles upon a secret late-night broadcast of lizards playing otherworldly music. His exploration into this magical world leads him to an eccentric old man called the Chicken Man (Johnson), and his elderly chicken companion Claudia. Per the logline, \u201cUnited by this shared vision, they set off on an adventure that begins as a hunt for a hidden society but blossoms into something far greater: a voyage through invisible worlds, unexpected harmonies, and the unbreakable bond between lost souls who discover magic not only in what they find, but in each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is produced by Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt for United Artists; Safdie for Out for the Count Productions; Johnson for Seven Bucks Productions; and David Koplan for Magnetic Fields Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\n\tParvathi makes her feature film debut in \u201cLizard Music.\u201d She recently appeared in a live theater production of \u201cCommedia Robots\u201d at the Actors\u2019 Gang theater in Culver City, as well as a short film produced by The Playground young actors\u2019 conservatory in Los Angeles.
