That won\u2019t happen in August, though. Since Aug. 1 falls on a Saturday, August SSI payments were already made on July 31, 2026, according to the<a data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/pubs\/EN-05-10031-2026.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"> Social Security Administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For standard Social Security beneficiaries, here&#8217;s the schedule for August:<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the first through the 10th of the month, payments will be issued on Wednesday, Aug. 12.<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the 11th through the 20th, you&#8217;ll get your payment on Wednesday, Aug. 19.<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the 21st through the 31st, you&#8217;ll get your payment on Wednesday, Aug. 26.<\/p>\n<p>If you received Social Security before May 1997, or if you receive both Social Security and SSI, Social Security payments will be issued on Monday, Aug. 3. As noted above, SSI payments were issued on July 31.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t receive your check on the expected date, the SSA advises that you allow three additional mailing days before contacting Social Security.<\/p>\n<p>Social Security Payments for the Rest of 2026<\/p>\n<p>Standard Social Security payments for the remainder of the year will follow the usual SSA schedule. Here&#8217;s a look:<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the first through the 10th of the month, you&#8217;ll get your payment on the second Wednesday of the month.<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the 11th through the 20th, you&#8217;ll get your payment on the third Wednesday of the month.<\/p>\n<p>If your birthday falls on the 21st through the 31st, you&#8217;ll get your payment on the fourth Wednesday of the month.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries who received <a data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.moneylion.com\/trending\/money\/claiming-social-security-what-to-do-if-youre-still-working\/?utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=c3-in_content_link_%7C_c4-features&amp;medium=rss&amp;campaign_id=4GBpMMMKkGx1dL6pIO0zJb&amp;utm_source=aol.com&amp;utm_term=in_content_link_4&amp;utm_segment=features\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Social Security<\/a> before May 1997 will also have checks issued according to the normal schedule, with payments made on the third of the month.<\/p>\n<p>SSI Schedule for the Rest of 2026<\/p>\n<p>SSI checks do not always follow a regular pattern.
