It also spent two weeks at the top of both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts and debuted at No. 4 on Britain\u2019s Official Singles Chart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">It was Spotify\u2019s most-streamed K-pop song worldwide in 2024 and won K-pop Song of the Year at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Meanwhile, a B-side track from BTS\u2019 fifth studio album, Arirang, nabbed the No. 1 spot on iTunes songs charts in 78 regions, months after the album\u2019s release in March.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Aliens from Arirang landed atop the charts as Army, the septet\u2019s official fandom community, started streaming it together to show support for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/life\/entertainment\/bts-says-it-will-skip-grammy-awards-in-2027?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\">BTS\u2019 decision to skip the Grammy Awards in 2027.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The K-pop sensation chose not to submit their work for consideration after the Grammys announced the creation of the new Asian pop category.
